December 11th, 2020.

CHA is delighted to announce that as part of our commitment to making our homes more sustainable and energy-efficient, we have successfully put two of our homes into a Better Energy Communities scheme, which would not have been possible without the hard work of NCE Insulation and funding from Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). These two homes now have new windows and doors as well as air-to-water heat pumps and additional insulation, meaning they will be warmer and more comfortable this Winter. We look forward to achieving the same outcome for the rest of our homes over the coming years. One tenant had this to say: "The house is certainly more comfortable and maintains/retains heat in a way it hadn't done before the retrofit...[it] is very cosy now, so many thanks."
